Frequently asked questions

My check-ins are missing

CHS Buddy stores check-ins on the iPhone where they were created. It has no account, cloud sync, or developer-operated backup service. Check that you are using the same device and have not reset the app's data or deleted the app.

Reminders are not appearing

Open CHS Buddy Settings and confirm that Reminders and the relevant category are enabled. If permission was denied, use Open iPhone Settings and allow notifications there. Focus modes can also delay or silence reminders.

Exporting or removing data

Open Settings and select Export symptom history to create a CSV. You choose where iOS saves or shares it. To remove local information, select Reset all data and confirm.

Medical disclaimer and urgent care

CHS Buddy provides general education and self-tracking support. It does not diagnose or treat a health condition, provide emergency services, or replace care from a qualified healthcare professional.

Seek urgent medical care if you cannot keep fluids down, have dizziness, confusion, very little or dark urine, a racing heart, or blood in vomit. Severe dehydration and other causes of vomiting need professional assessment.
